Accessing SSO enabled account
Once SSO has been activated for a HelpDesk account, during login technicians will have to provide the email address of their SSO account. They will be then redirected to IdP which will handle the authentication by asking the technician to login with the IdP credentials.
If the credentials provided by the technician are correct and successfully validated by the IdP, the technician will be redirected back to the HelpDesk account.
Once SSO is enabled for a HelpDesk account, technicians can access their account from anywhere by logging in from the web or desktop application. However, technicians must update the desktop application to the latest version for Single Sign-On to work.
